Gliding Lessons and Courses at Essex & Suffolk Gliding Club

Important Notice

• We regret to announce that our airfield landlord has made the decision not to renew ESGC’s 35 year lease. As a result we are temporarily suspending the sale of long-term gift vouchers as the club will be relocating from Wormingford in September 2026.

• Outstanding gift vouchers issued by ESGC will remain valid until their expiry date. No extensions or refunds will be possible.

• However, Trial Lessons, Gliding Experiences and Mini Day Courses will still be available for sale at ESGC’s clubhouse up until September 2026, when we have capacity.   If you wish to enquire about short term availability over the next 7-14 days please contact our Booking Office directly on 07486 438934 or by email at sales@esgc.co.uk (email is usually best).  You will be booked in on your preferred date and time, and will need to pay for the voucher by cash or card on the day.

• Alternatively you can buy a Discover Gliding or Go For Gliding voucher on the British Gliding Association website and utilise it at a gliding club of your choice. Click on the links below to open further information and purchase vouchers directly from the BGA.
